Questions people ask
Will it scratch my tile or glass?
The bristles are firm plastic and the squeegee edge is soft TPR, so they're safe on glazed tile, stone, glass and sealed floors. As with any brush, test an inconspicuous spot first on delicate or unsealed surfaces.
How long is the handle?
The stainless handle extends, so you can set it to a comfortable height and lock it there. It also collapses down for storage.
Can I use it on walls, not just floors?
Yes. The head pivots 180° and locks, so you can work tile walls and shower glass at the same angle you'd use on the floor.
Does it work wet, with cleaner?
Yes — use it dry, with water, or with your usual bathroom cleaner. Rinse the head under the tap afterward.
How do I clean the brush itself?
Hold it under running water. The blade bristles are spaced so hair and grit rinse straight out instead of getting trapped.
Will it reach behind the toilet?
That's what the narrow head and the pivoting joint are for. Set the angle, keep the handle extended and you can work the gap behind the pan and along the skirting without kneeling down.
Does it come assembled?
It arrives in a few sections that push together — no tools needed. Once it's together you only adjust the length and the head angle.
How heavy is it?
About 500g. Light enough to hold overhead for shower walls and ceilings, but the bristles are stiff enough to put real pressure into a grout line.
Can I use it outside — patio, decking, the garage?
Yes. The same stiff bristles that clear tile grout work on paving joints and decking grooves, and the squeegee side pushes standing water off a patio.
Will it damage my grout?
The bristles are plastic, not wire, so they lift dirt out of the joint rather than cutting into it. On old or crumbling grout, work gently — any stiff brush can loosen grout that's already failing.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo at support@sweepado.com and we'll ship a replacement free of charge. You don't need to post the damaged one back.
